We started Clue Nine because of our own frustrations with finding healthy beauty products: too many options with too many ingredients, and not enough information on what those ingredients were doing to our bodies when we put them on our faces and hair. It seemed like there was no way to get around it—until we realized that there was a whole world of indie brands out there who made products with ingredients you could actually pronounce! That's how Clue Nine was born: as a place where you could find the best products and indie brands available without having to do all the research yourself.
